Participation
It’s easy for Executive MBA Council members to participate in the Student Exit Benchmarking Survey.
First you must register your program or programs through the “Agreement to Participate,” which you can find at http://www.embac.org/studentexitregister.
Then choose your preferred method to administer the survey: web or print. Here’s what will happen, depending on your choice.
- You will receive an e-mail with instructions about submitting student e-mail addresses.
- You will choose the dates of the survey invitation and reminder e-mails, as well as the end of the survey fielding for each of your programs. Remember all surveys must be completed by June 30.
- To boost your response rate, Percept Research encourages you to send a pre-alert announcement to your students one to two days before distributing your survey invitations. The pre-alert announcement helps students know to expect the survey in their in boxes. You can download the pre-alert template via your school portal by clicking on Alert Templates under the Exit Survey Tab.
- Percept Research will send reminder e-mails to students who have not responded one week after sending the invitation e-mail, or as you instruct. Reminder e-mails include a link to the survey and a unique tracking number to ensure one survey response per student. Only students who have not responded receive e-mail reminders.
- Percept Research closes the fielding of the online survey based on the date you select, usually two to three weeks after the invitation, but all surveys must be received after June 30.
- You now can download your non-responders list anytime during the fielding of your survey via your school portal by clicking Register/Manage Survey under the Exit Survey tab. One day after your survey end date, you will receive a list of non-respondents that will include the unique survey links for each non-respondent. You can use the list to follow-up directly with these students.
- Percept Research encourages you to send an end of survey announcement to your non-responders two-three days after your survey end date. The end of survey template is available via your school portal by clicking on Alert Templates under the Exit Survey tab.
- Percept Research will send you a topline summary of your results within two weeks after you have officially ended the fielding of your survey.
You now can access your school’s archives of reports via your school portal. Dating back to 2006, reports are available for the Student Entry Benchmarking Survey, Student Exit Benchmarking Survey, and Membership Program Directory by clicking on the Report Archive tab.
Based on the reporting option you select, Percept Research will send your school an invoice and must receive full payment before sending survey results.
If you have not participated before or if you have additional questions, contact surveysupport@perceptresearch.com.
